YORK VILLAGE - Weekly programs for children at the York Public Library include Miss Kate's Infant Lap, Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.; Preschool Story Time, Thursdays at 10:30 a.m., and Toddler Story Time, Fridays at 10:30 a.m. Monthly programs for children and parents include Making Music Monthly, the first Wednesday of each month from 10:15 to10:45 a.m.; Tactile Toddler Time, the second Tuesday of each month from 10:15 to10:45 a.m.; Babies, Boppies and Books, the second Thursday of each month from 10:15 to 11 a.m., and Art by the Pond, the third Tuesday of each month, from 10:15 to 11 a.m.HOLIDAY CONCERT
On Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. Russian pianist Sergei Novikov will perform a holiday concert in the Community Room. His compositions are strongly influenced by both classical music and jazz. This is Sergei's second appearance at the York Public Library - there's sure to be an enthusiastic audience for this popular local musician!
ART EXHIBITS
"Transitions," watercolors and oils by Kittery Point artist Wendy Turner, will be on display at the library in December and January. Join us for an Artist's Talk on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 5:30 p.m.

HOLIDAY DISPLAY
Miniature Christmas trees created by members of the Old York Garden Club are now on display above the library's reference collection.
SECOND ANNUAL PRESCHOOL FAIR
On Saturday, Jan. 27, from 10a.m. to noon, the Second Annual Preschool Age Fair, organized by Sarah Morosoff, is the perfect way to beat the winter blues. Mark your calendars now for a day to explore enrichment programs designed with your preschooler in mind! The fair will feature exhibits, hands-on activities, wonderful raffle prizes and more. All fair exhibitors should register by this Friday, Dec. 15. Registration forms are available in the children's room of the library.
