Wednesday, Nov. 298:53 p.m. Joseph M. Papa, 18, of 35A York St., was charged with use of a fictitious certificate of inspection and violation of conditions of release on Long Sands Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.
Thursday, Nov. 30
10:26 a.m. A Cycad Avenue man reported the theft of a CD book containing up to 40 CDs and a wallet from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked at the Ice Pond Mall on Route 1. The CDs were valued at $350.
Friday, Dec. 1
2:23 p.m. A Woodbridge Road man reported the theft of a cell phone and a silver surfing watch from his vehicle while it was parked on Clay Hill Road sometime in the recent past. There was no estimate of value of the missing property.
Sunday, Dec. 3
9:40 a.m. A 2002 Mitsubishi sport utility vehicle parked by Robert Smith, 65, of 3 Broadway Ave., Ipswich, Mass., and a 2000 Mercury sedan operated by Jacquelyn C. Dodge, 61, of 1002 Bayside Road, Trenton, Maine, were in collision in the parking lot of the Anchorage Motor Inn on Long Beach Avenue. Damage was estimated at $200 to the Mitsubishi, $1,200 to the Mercury.
Tuesday, Dec. 5
12:24 p.m. An Osprey Lane woman reported the theft of a Cobra radar detector from her vehicle sometime over the weekend. The detector was valued at $90.
9:29 p.m. Robert W. Parent, 48, of 5 Ferry Lane North, was charged with criminal operating under the influence and operating while a license is suspended or revoked at the VFW Post in Cape Neddick. At the same time and location, Eric B. Perkins, 27, of 280 Mountain Road, Cape Neddick, was charged with criminal mischief, violation of conditions of release and refusal to sign a summons at the VFW Post in Cape Neddick. He is charged in connection with damage to a video machine valued at $3,300. Both are scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.
Wednesday, Dec. 6
6:07 a.m. A Mountain Road woman reported the theft of cigarettes and three CDs from her unlocked vehicle a week or so ago. The CDs were valued at $35, the cigarettes at $5.
8:38 a.m. Todd Ouellette, 27, of 236 Fall Road, Lebanon, was charged with possession of a suspended license on Betty Welch Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Feb. 8.
11:30 p.m. A 1994 Chevrolet sport utility vehicle operated by Jason Ford, 22, of 4 Brickyard Lane, Room 232, Econo Lodge, went off Brickyard Lane, struck a ditch and turned over on its left side and then its roof. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
Thursday, Dec. 7
10:14 a.m. A Sparrow Lane woman reported the theft of a Magellan GPS unit and an iPod car deck and battery charger from her vehicle. The GPS unit was valued at $900, the iPod equipment at $100. The items were last seen in the vehicle Nov. 24.
9:40 p.m. A 1995 Geo sedan operated by Tom Tieman, 48, of 29 Dismukes St., Kittery, received an estimated $1,250 in damage when a deer ran into its side on Route 1. The deer died at the scene.
Friday, Dec. 8
5:49 a.m. A 1996 Ford sport utility vehicle operated by Robert W. Monteith, 47, of 1 Highgate Close, and a 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck operated by Matthew Donnell, 20, of 15 Corn Swamp Road, were in collision at the intersection of the Spur Road and Chase's Pond Road. Damage was estimated at $1,100 to the Ford, $300 to the Chevrolet.
8:50 a.m. A 2002 Chevrolet sport utility vehicle owned by Michael J. DaBiere of 7 High Pine Road, operated by a 17-year-old York boy, received an estimated $2,000 in damage when it left Cider Hill Road, struck a tree and came to a rest against a stonewall.
9:40 a.m. A 2002 Mazda sedan operated by Judy Hanson, 51, of 61 Sunrise Terrace ran off Scituate Road and struck a small tree. Damage was estimated at $1,200.
Sunday, Dec. 10
1 p.m. A 1998 Volvo sedan operated by Cynthia Raymond, 49, of 4 Preble Lane, and a 2004 Honda sport utility vehicle operated by Joann Turner, 51, of 5 Stoney Brook, Cape Neddick, were in collision at the Hannaford Store on Route 1. Damage was estimated at $1,500 to the Volvo, $1,000 to the Honda.
