Union Congregational Church offers service this Thursday for those struggling with loss
YORK - The holiday season is not always one filled with happiness.Christmas time can be a very lonely, depressing, "blue" time for those grieving the loss of loved ones or other losses or for those who are all alone when others are partying and gathering with family members.
It's at such times that we need to make the space and take the time to acknowledge our sadness and concern. We need to know that we are not alone.
For these reasons, Union Congregational Church, invites you at 7 p.m. this Thursday, Dec. 14, to come and join in sharing and hearing prayers, music and more.
The brief service will be followed by a time for light refreshments and fellowship.
Doors will be open to all who come so please feel free to invite others to come with you, as your support, or if you know that they too, are finding that Christmas hurts.
