HARVEY REID AND JOYCE ANDERSEN HOLIDAY CONCERT. Local music luminaries - and York residents - Reid and Andersen will present their Eighth Annual Seacoast-area Christmas Concert in the beautiful and historic Dover, N.H., First Parish Church, at Silver & Central, on Friday, Dec. 22, at 7:30 p.m. Reid is a former national acoustic guitar and autoharp champion who has lived in the Seacoast for 25 years and has released 18 highly-acclaimed recordings of acoustic music. His best-selling CD is his Christmas album, "The Heart of the Minstrel on Christmas Day." Guitar Player Magazine called him "...truly a giant of the steel strings" and Acoustic Guitar Magazine, "...one of the true treasures of American acoustic music." Andersen is a rising star in the acoustic music world who is releasing her fourth solo CD.
