Chance

Chance
Hey hey, Chance here! I'm a five-year-old spayed female yellow Labrador mix. The shelter took me in because I was found as a stray in one of the contract towns. I should do well with cats and also most dogs. I do have some issues over my food, so my ideal home will have children over the age of 12 years who can respect me and give me some space. The shelter staff can also teach my new family a trade up game, which helps to lessen food aggression. I do appear to be housetrained and know the command "sit." I would benefit from basic obedience classes to help with manners, commands and to form the dog-family bond. The shelter staff says that I am a very nice dog who needs a home where my new family will be willing to work with me on my training and also provide me with daily exercise. I know I can be a great companion for you!

Jenny

Jenny
"Jenny, Jenny, you're the girl for me" or so said Tommy Tutone. I was the girl for my owner who passed away, and the family had to bring me to the shelter. The staff and volunteers have made me feel very welcome, but I am looking for a new home where I will be as loved as I was before. My name is Jenny and I am a 10-year-old Labrador retriever mix. I have lived with cats and while I may try to bully them at first, I should be fine with them after we feel each other out. I also lived with a dog before I came to the shelter. If you have a dog, please bring him or her in so the staff can introduce us. I have mild food aggression, but the staff can show you a game, the trade up game, to play with me for this issue. I am recommended for homes with kids over 10 years old who can respect my age and food issue. I am housetrained and know "sit," "down" and "shake." I have been going to shelter dog obedience classes too. The mobile adoption team has taken me to adoption events and they gave me great reviews! If you are looking for a great dog don't call "867-5309" like you would for Tommy Tutone's Jenny, call the shelter at 985-3244, or better yet stop by and see me!

Rumor

Rumor
I'm the most beautiful, lovable cat in the whole shelter! Really, I am. I'm not saying that in hopes that I will be adopted. I've been waiting to fall in love with someone and have them fall in love with me for months now and it just hasn't happened yet. Could you be my true love? I used to live on the streets as a stray and would really like to have a home to call my very own. I get along with other cats, like to be petted and just hang out. I am extremely sweet and would do well in any average home. So what do you say? Stop by for a visit and let's see if we can fall in love.

Wayne

Wayne
Are you looking for a kitty who is charming, handsome and all around just wonderful? Well, look no further - you've found him. Hi there, my name is Wayne. I came to the shelter as a stray. I am sure glad to be here so I can find my forever home. I am an adult neutered male and am declawed. I have the most beautiful orange eyes. I enjoy hanging out with my person and being petted. I also enjoy getting light kisses on the head. Now don't tell anyone, please, because they might think I'm a softy! If you think you have room in your life for a guy like me, then stop by for a visit.

Jenny and Ginger

Jenny and Ginger
Hey there, Jenny and Ginger here. I am Jenny, an adult spayed female mixed-breed rabbit. I have gorgeous tan fur with some white spots. Don't you think I'm a very pretty girl? The shelter took me in because I was found as a stray in the town of Alfred. I'm a very nice girl that would love to get to know you and settle down with your family. I think we could really hit it off, so please stop by and we'll get to know one another! And my name is Ginger. I am a one-year-old female Rex-mix rabbit. My previous family surrendered me to the shelter because they had no time for me. You can probably tell where I got my name … from my beautiful ginger-colored fur with tan points. Quite the striking girl, wouldn't you agree? The shelter staff says I'm a sweet and calm girl that would love to move in with you. Do you have the room for a bunny playpen and exercise area? Why not visit me? You won't be disappointed!
