Chester

Chester
Greetings, I'm Chester. I am a handsome, six-and-a-half-year-old neutered male Rottweiler. My previous family surrendered me to the shelter because I was urinating in the home. This is most likely because they had not had me neutered. Un-neutered males will mark their territory to let other dogs know who's the boss. I am interested in cats but do back down when they stand up to me. I'm also fairly dominant with other dogs and would be best suited to a calm, submissive female friend. I do have some issues with food aggression and would like to live with kids over the age of 15 years. I do appear to be housetrained and would benefit from obedience classes and the trade-up game to help with my food aggression and will need to work on the "nothing in life is free" program that the shelter techs can teach you. I do already know many commands including sit, shake, roll over, stay and down. The shelter techs say that I am a very calm and gentle dog who just wants attention and some snuggles from my people. I can be a bit pushy, but with the right family, I'll find my proper place in the pack!
Fern

Fern
Hey hey, I'm Fern. While I actually don't look like that green, leafy plant, I think Fern is quite the pretty name, don't you? It makes me think of nature and fresh, clean air! I am a six-year-old spayed female cat who was brought to the shelter after being found as a stray in the town of Biddeford. I get along well with other kitties and also enjoy the company of people. The shelter techs and volunteers say that I am a very friendly little girl. Why not stop by the shelter? Just like me namesake, I know that I will grow and flourish in your family!
Radison

Radison
Most people take one look at me and they don't see what a wonderful guy I am. All they see is that I'm a rat and most people think we don't make good pets. We are really wonderful animals who make great pets. I came to the shelter after being rescued, so I'm here in hopes of finding my forever home. I lived outside in a large ferret cage, but would really prefer to live inside where I'm safe and warm. I am a sweet guy who likes to be held for short periods of time. I really enjoy eating cheese and grain. Why not stop by for a visit and get to know me? I will show you all of my endearing qualities!
