Wrestling

Last Saturday, Jan. 13, the Wildcats wrestling team competed at Kennebunk in an eight-team, double-elimination tournament format with eight of Maine's top wrestling programs, including Biddeford, Westbrook and host Kennebunk from Class A; Wells, Mountain Valley and York from Class B, and Lisbon and Dexter from Class C.

Basketball

A disappointed Coach Rick Brault said, "Tony Romano and Zach Prugar played solid and Joe Corsello played a strong defense, but overall it was a sloppy game. We had 26 turnovers." On Saturday, Jan. 13, the Lady Wildcats (6-5) recorded their third win in five days to break the .500 barrier.

Hockey

Wildcats girls' ice hockey saw a potential win slip away on Saturday, Jan. 13, on the road against Fryeburg Academy. The York High School hockey team played three games in four days and added three more victories to their record, including the most dramatic win of the season so far in a brilliantly played 1-0 game against Winslow, Class A-East, on Saturday night, Jan. 13, at Biddeford.

Track

The Wildcats indoor track teams emerged first from their second meet of the season on Friday, Jan. 12.
