York Diversity Forum to host International Mixer
YORK - Get ready to have a wonderful time while meeting people from different cultures right here in town.The York Diversity Forum is inviting the local community take part in a special upcoming event, known as the International Mixer, to be held on Jan. 29.
"This is an opportunity for people to meet residents and temporary workers who come from other countries and have different customs and speak other languages," explained York Diversity Forum Chairwoman Carol Davis in an announcement of the upcoming event.
The event will offer you a chance to come and meet people from different cultures and countries - as well as those who speak other languages - to share cultural experiences.
Light refreshments will be served and childcare is available.
The event will be held on Monday, Jan. 29, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at York Middle School and is being sponsored by the York Diversity Forum and York Adult and Community Education.
