Sunday, Jan. 143:10 a.m. A 1999 Dodge van operated by Fabien Bowen, 65 Corona St., Apt. 2, Boston, Mass., owned by Christine Mcgurl, Derry, N.H., received an estimated $6,500 in damages when it left York Street, striking a fence and a tree.
8:35 a.m. A 2000 Jeep SUV operated by Meryl S. Wein, 58, 14 Limestone Road, Ogunquit, received an estimated $6,000 in damages when it struck black ice on Route 1, rolled over, and ended up on its wheels on a ledge and small trees.
8:50 a.m. A 1995 Geo 2-door operated by Theresa Hersey, 23, 32 Dorrington Ave., Sanford, received an estimated $2,000 in damages when it spun and left Route 1, striking a large outcropping of ledge.
9 a.m. A 1996 Jeep SUV operated by Nancy J. Hay, 51, 6 Shellie Lane, Berwick, received an estimated $10,000 in damages when it left Route 91, struck a utility pole and flipped several times before coming to rest in a field.
10 a.m. A 2002 Chevrolet SUV operated by Faith Bennett Hunter, 64, 2 Jennifer Lane, York, received an estimated $20,000 in damages when it left the road while pulling out of Jennifer Lane onto Route 1 and rolled over.
Monday, Jan. 15
3:53 p.m. A 1996 Volvo station wagon operated by Per E. Jonas, 59, 88 Darcy Road, York, received an estimated $1,200 in damages when a deer ran into the driver's side on Moulton Lane.
8:54 a.m. A Kestral Circle resident reported an estimated $25 in damage to a window screen that had been torn sometime between Jan. 10 and Jan 13.
2:13 p.m. A burglary and smashed window of a motor vehicle was reported in the Hannaford employee parking lot, occurring sometime between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. A purse valued at $30 was taken from the vehicle. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $200 for the broken window.
6:33 p.m. A 1996 Honda sedan operated by Lillian Christo, 81, 12 Cameo Court, York, received an estimated $4,500 in damages when it left Woodbridge Road, striking a parked 1978 Cadillac owned by John B. Stockless, 67 Woodbridge Road, York. The Cadillac received an estimated $3,500 in damages.
9:14 p.m. Mark A. Thompson, 19, 109 Langs Lane, Newmarket, N.H., was charged with operating while license suspended or revoked after his vehicle was found in the median strip on the Spur Road. He is scheduled to appear at York District Court April 5.
Tuesday, Jan. 16
12:51 a.m. Glen D. McCarthy, 24, 12 Autumn Brook Lane, York, was charged with operating while license suspended or revoked on Route 1. He is scheduled to appear at York District Court April 5.
7:50 a.m. A 2001 Mercury sedan operated by Shawn Lillie, 39, 10 Perkins Drive, York, owned by Seacoast Harley Davidson, North Hampton, N.H., received an estimated $1,500 in damages at the intersection of Route 1 and York Corner when another vehicle made a left turn from Route 1 onto York Street against the red light. The other vehicle left the scene.
9:31 a.m. A 2006 Chevrolet pickup truck operated by James B. Pratt, 40, 135 Logging Road, Cape Neddick, and a 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck operated by Richard C. Young, 31, 1970 Route 1, Cape Neddick, owned by Birch Knoll Cottages, Ogunquit, were in collision on Route 1, causing the 2003 Chevy pickup to run into a telephone pole and the 2006 Chevy to strike the Cat'n Nine Tail grocery store sign, taking down sign and light fixture, moving a piece of granite and barely missing building.
3 p.m. A two-axle school bus operated by William C. Beaman, P.O. Box 1585, York Beach, owned by the York School Department, received an estimated $2,000 in damages, when the rear handicap loading dock came into contact with the rear bumper of a 2001 GMC pickup truck operated by Nolan C. Patten, 22, P.O. Box 382, Ogunquit, and owned by Patten Grounds Care, that was sanding the York High School parking lot. No children were involved.
Wednesday, Jan. 17
8:03 a.m. A 14-year-old York male juvenile was charged with unlawful sexual contact at York High School after he allegedly inappropriately grabbed at a female student. He is scheduled to appear at York District Court March 5.
2:01 p.m. A theft of an estimated $360 in quilt materials was reported by the Knights Quilt Shop on Route 1.
5:18 p.m. Mary E. Purgiel, 42, 2 Railroad Ave., South Berwick, was charged with criminal operating under the influence on Route 1. She is scheduled to appear at York District Court April 5.
Thursday, Jan. 18
12:01 p.m. A resident of Fort Hill Avenue Extension reported damage to a sump pump pipe, occurring sometime between Jan. 11 and 18.
7:22 p.m. James W. Hasty, 22, 74 Thurrell Road, South Berwick, was charged with trafficking in dangerous knives after a consent search of his vehicle after traffic stop. He is scheduled to appear at York District Court April 5.
Friday, Jan. 20
8:45 a.m. Residents of Scotland Bridge and Cider Hill roads reported incidents of criminal mischief occurring sometime Thursday night. A mailbox had been uprooted and an anarchy symbol painted on several cars and several places on the roadway, causing no permanent damage. The paint was easily removable from the cars, and the on the roadway the symbol was painted on ice.
1:30 p.m. A 1993 Toyota two-door operated by Bryce E. Labonte, 19, 1135 Maplewood Ave., Portsmouth, N.H., owned by Michele J. Cloutier of the same address, received an estimated $500 in damages when it left Bell Marsh Road and struck a tree.
7:56 p.m. Richard B. Dennis, 55, 500 Ledgewood Drive, Kittery, was summonsed for an unregistered motor vehicle. He is scheduled to appear at York District Court April 5.
10:19 p.m. Daymeon Koulas, 27, 35 Freshet Road, Madbury, N.H., was arrested for an active warrant after a traffic stop on Railroad Avenue. John E. Cummings, 20, 3 Paul St., York Beach, a passenger in the vehicle, was also arrested on a warrant for unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs when he stopped by the York Police Department afterward to bail out Koulas. Both were transported to York County Jail.
11:01 p.m. Burglary and criminal mischief were reported at Stop-N-Go Video at Long Sands Plaza where the front door had been smashed by a rock and it appeared that the cash register had been gone through. Items taken included $600 in cash, a safe valued at $170 and lottery tickets valued at $1,900. Damage to the front door is estimated at $471.
