Chamber's Wedding and Party Expo set for Feb. 18

YORK HARBOR - The Fifth Annual Wedding and Party Expo returns to town on Sunday, Feb. 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

With over 50 wedding and specialty suppliers participating, this event is promised to be a must for the bride-to-be or anyone planning a special Seacoast area event.

With its sandy beaches, rural farmland and rustic woods, the York, Ogunquit and the southern Maine coast have long been a major destination spot for weddings and other special occasion parties. Meanwhile, the Greater York Region Chamber of Commerce has worked with thousands of brides-to-be and party planners over the years to create memorable celebrations and invites you to come plan your party and see why this is the perfect choice for your big day.

The expo will be held simultaneously at the York Harbor Inn and the Stage Neck Inn, and those who attend will be able to explore these two picturesque locations while meeting with some of the best names in the area wedding business.

Listen to classic wedding tunes while sampling wine provided by Nappi Distributors at the Stage Neck Inn.

Check out the latest in formal wear at the York Harbor Inn.

And, travel in style between the two locations in limousines provided by River's Limousine and Regal Limousine.

The Greater York Region Chamber of Commerce promises this will be the place to get those unique and creative ideas while entering the many raffle drawings and tasting all the delicious food samples. From invitations, music, photography, flowers and formal wear to skin care, chocolate fountains, trolley charters, unique wedding favor ideas and much more, organizers promise you will find everything you need to make your wedding day or special occasion complete.

Admission to the Wedding and Party Expo is $5 per person, or you may pre-register at www.gatewaytomaine.org and receive a coupon for $2 off. Additional information, including directions, exhibitor information and more, is also available on the website.
