Marci Hait
YORK - Marci Hait, a former journalist and local newspaper editor, has joined the high-visibility Bisson Barcelona public relations firm in Barrington, N.H.

As a publicist for Bisson Barcelona, Hait represents both local and international authors and entrepreneurs. She is responsible for implementing campaigns, interacting with the media, arranging interviews, conducting research and writing press releases for her clients.

"As a publicist, I am able to blend my background in journalism with my knowledge of the media to help promote my clients in a meaningful and effective manner," Hait said. "Working with Bisson Barcelona has been great in that I have been able to continue to work with writers, while sharing the stories of some of the country's most innovative business people."

Hait is a published writer and former journalist whose articles have appeared in numerous area publications. She is also in the process of contributing to Faces of Freedom, a book featuring the stories of 50 men and women - one from each state - who have died in the War in Iraq. Faces of Freedom will be available in 2007 and its proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and Fisher House.

Hait earned degrees in both journalism and teaching from the University of New Hampshire and graduated cum laude in 2002.
