Adele Ceglia
YORK HARBOR - Adele A. (Saracino) Ceglia, 88, of Two Victoria Court, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, at York Hospital.She was born May 18, 1918, in Newark, N.J., daughter of John and Mary (Policastro) Saracino, and had lived in that area for many years before moving to York Harbor. Her husband, David A. Ceglia, died in 1993.
She leaves a son, David C. Ceglia and his wife, Deirdre A. Larkin of Rye, N.H., and a daughter, Josette A. Ceglia and her companion, Thomas Theohary, of York Harbor.
Two brothers, Dr. Christopher Saracino and Dr. Franklyn Saracino, and a sister, Mildred Saracino, predeceased her.
She had worked for Beth Israel Hospital in Newark as a dental Assistant. She was a member of St. Christopher's Church. She was also a member of the Sentry Hill Readers and enjoyed reading to the students at the Village Elementary School.
Funeral services and burial will take place in Roseland, N.J. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date in St. Christopher's Church.
