Fitz

Fitz
Hello there, I'1m Fitz. I am a two-year-old neutered male Labrador mix. Cute guy, don't you think? I was brought up to the AWS as part of a transfer from a southern shelter. Down South they have so many dogs that they cannot find homes for them. Litters of puppies are left at the shelter and older dogs become even less adoptable because of that. I am sure glad that I was able to take the humane train up north. Now I know I will be able to find a loving home! I should do well with felines and have shown no inclination to chase them. I'm also gentle and submissive with most other dogs. If you have a dog currently, bring him or her in to meet with any dogs you may be interested in adopting! I do like kids of all ages, but do have some ground rules with them. I want to have a pleasant and comfortable time with them. I would like them to respect my space, be calm and not crawl all over me. Is that too much to ask? It is not known if I am housetrained and I would also benefit from basic obedience classes to help with building confidence and learning commands. The shelter techs say that I need help with building my confidence up in a gentle, calm and understanding home. With love and patience I will blossom into a great companion!
Lydia

Lydia
I've been staying in one of the community rooms here at the shelter for a few months now. I've seen a lot of cats find their forever homes and I still don't understand why I haven't found someone to love me. I am a gorgeous six-year-old female kitty who has flowing medium length hair. I am the sort of girl who doesn't like to draw attention to myself. Maybe that is why I haven't found my forever home. I guess you could say that I am a wallflower. I know I don't look much like a flower, do I? Hi, I'm Lydia. I am a real treasure just waiting to be found by someone. I get along with cats, though I'm not sure how I would feel about living with a dog as I've never been introduced to one. I am a loveable girl who is friendly and will purr up a storm when you pet me. I just know when you meet me I will steal your heart. So hop in your car and come adopt me!
Oliver

Oliver
Well, hi, I'm Oliver. I am an adult male Dwarf mix rabbit. I have short, white hair due to my albino coloration. I was abandoned outside the AWS so they brought me in, gave me food, water, a safe place to stay and now they are looking for a home for me. I'm quite the handsome and friendly guy. Won't you please stop by and get to know me? I can't wait to meet you!
