Appeals Board OKs seasonal conversion

YORK - At its Jan. 24 meeting, the Appeals Board granted a special exception for a seasonal conversion of property at 11 Pine Hill Road South owned by Patricia Shaughnessy.

Shaughnessy requested a special exception because the property did not meet the setbacks required for seasonal conversion.

Four members of the Appeals Board voted in favor of the applicant and one abstained.

Shaughnessy's request was the only appeal under consideration by the Appeals Board that night.

The board is scheduled to meet again on Feb. 14 and will then take up the longstanding Witham case discussed earlier this month at its Feb. 28 meeting.

For complete Appeals Board agendas and those of other meetings as they are made available, see Agendas/Meetings.
