Kindergarten registration begins
YORK - Kindergarten registration is ongoing throughout the month of February weekdays at Village Elementary School.Evening registration sessions will also be held on Feb. 7 and 8 between 6 and 8 p.m.
Forms can be downloaded from www.yorkschools.org/VES or picked up at Village Elementary School between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on any day that school is in session. Parents and guardians should bring the child's original birth certificate as well as immunization records and proof of residency. Appointments for kindergarten screening, which will be held in June, will be made at the time of registration.
To be enrolled in kindergarten for the coming fall term, each student must be five years old by Oct. 15, 2007.
