Margaret Coffin

BANGOR - Margaret M. (Dwyer) Coffin, 87, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, at the Harbor Home in York Harbor with her family by her side.

She was born Sept. 5, 1919, in Millinocket, daughter of Frederick and Lyla Dwyer and had lived most of her life in Bangor before moving to Sanford and finally to York Harbor.

Her husband of 43 years, Larson Earl Coffin, died in 1985.

She leaves a daughter, Elizabeth Coffin Farnham, and her husband, Raymond Farnham, of Wells; two sisters, Kathleen Rowell of Bangor and Zephyr Hills, Fla., and Theresa Brown of Brewer; two grandchildren, Jennifer Farnham of Wells and Craig Farnham of Osaka, Japan, and a great-grandson, Mathew Farnham of Wells.

She was predeceased by four brothers, Carl, Angus, Donald and Patrick, and two sisters, Doris and Colleen.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rebecca Lodge.

Funeral services and burial will be private in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor in the spring.
