Skating rink now open
YORK - The Robert Mackey Skate Park is now open for anyone with a pair of ice skates and a determination to have some fun.The town's outdoor ice skating rink is located on Bog Road and is free to the public.
The park features a brand-new parking lot, a warming hut and lights so that if the ice is good, skating can go from day to night.
Volunteers maintain the ice nightly, keeping it in good condition and ready for hockey fans and figure skaters alike - as long as cold temperatures last.
