Praise for York, Ogunquit ambulances
Dear Independent,On Aug. 30, 2006, I was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Route 1. I am writing to you to praise the volunteer ambulance personnel. My sister-in-law was transported to Portland by York Ambulance, and I was transported to York Hospital by the Ogunquit Volunteer Ambulance.
The crew from Ogunquit made sure they removed my 12 scrapbooks from the backseat and delivered them to me within minutes of my admission to York Hospital. I felt they went above and beyond the call of duty and I will always be indebted to them.
Your community is very fortunate to have these resources. As a former EMT, I know what dedication is needed for this work.
God bless them all.
Sincerely,
Linda Lou Butler
