Town Manager Phil Clark is reportedly doing well as he continues to recover from heart surgery.
Rep. Dawn Hill, D-York, has submitted a bill that would allow towns like York and Ogunquit to choose, by vote of local residents, to lower the property taxes assessed on open space land that is set aside for long-term protection.
While those warm summer days walking along the beach or taking in the views at the Ogunquit River may seem a distant memory, the time is now to help the Maine Healthy Beaches Program and the Conservation Commission protect local waterways.
The Conservation Commission will tackle a full agenda when it meets tomorrow evening, Thursday, Feb. 15.
