Library Happenings

The third annual "York Reads: One Book, One Community" provides an opportunity for friends, families, neighbors, townspeople and co-workers to share the experience of reading a single book and discussing their thoughts and ideas with each other.

Ongoing

As part of Black History Month, the York Public Library will be cosponsoring events and displaying books on the contributions made by African American citizens. For the past three years, residents of the town of York have joined together in a community reading project, "York Reads." The opening of Third Annual York Public Library Student Art Show drew what might have been one of the largest turnouts ever at the library's opening reception on Friday, Feb. 2.
