Saturday, Feb. 10

8:30 p.m. A 2000 Ford sport utility vehicle owned by Curtis W. Clark, 63, 147 Chases Pond Road, York, received an estimated $1,500 in damages when it was struck by an unknown vehicle while parked overnight in the parking lot at Ruby's on Route 1.

Sunday, Feb. 11

11:32 a.m. York police told representative for Diamond Cut Outlet in Kittery to remove fluorescent signs that had been placed throughout town since they were against town ordinance.

Monday, Feb. 12

7:30 p.m. A Clark Road resident reported a truck going door-to-door with a sign advertising "wicked good steaks" on the side.

7:45 p.m. A 1990 Ford pickup truck operated by Steven Hansen, 30, P.O. Box 756, York, was struck by a deer on Cider Hill Road, but received no damage.

Tuesday, Feb. 13

10:49 a.m. A River Farm Road resident reported a dog had been left outside all morning with no food and water in extreme cold. York Animal Control let the dog into the residence and left a card. No charges were filed.

12:08 p.m. York Hospital reported a suicidal female patient was missing. Police found her in a car with friends and returned her to the hospital.

1:13 p.m. A 2001 Ford sedan operated by Douglas Sawyer, 43, 42 Brackett St. #1, Westbrook, owned by Pine State Trading Co., 100 Enterprise Ave., Gardiner, received an estimated $500 in damages when the driver's side mirror was struck and broken by an unknown vehicle in the Hannaford parking lot on Route 1.

Wednesday, Feb. 14

7:21 a.m. A 2005 Chevrolet sport utility vehicle operated by Robert Byers, 38, 411 Ridge Road, York Beach, and a 2003 Nissan sedan operated by Karen T. Norton, 172A Mountain Road, Cape Neddick, were in collision in the parking lot of Anthony's Food Shop on Route 1. Damage to the Nissan was estimated at $2,100. No damage was reported to the Chevrolet.

9:50 a.m. A 2005 Dodge van operated by Cheryl Jean Mulcahy, 47, 71 Glenwood Ave., Dover, N.H., received an estimated $4,000 in damages when it left High Pine Road and struck a utility pole.

3:40 p.m. A complaint was made about snowmobiles on Route 91. Police advised two subjects to stay off the roadway.

Thursday, Feb. 15

6:13 a.m. A vehicle that was reported "messing around" and doing donuts in the parking lot at Ledges Golf Course apparently damaged the front gate at the golf course. Damage to the steel gate and granite pillar was estimated at $3,000.

1:30 a.m. A York Public Works truck operated by Norman E. Hanson, 44, 179 Scituate Road, York, and a 2000 pickup truck operated by Thomas James, 60, P.O. Box 1368, York Harbor, owned by the town of York, were in collision when the Department of Public Works truck was sanding the Town Hall parking lot on York Street and struck the parked pickup truck. No damage reported to the DPW truck. Damages to the pickup truck were estimated at $1,500.

8:52 a.m. A 1999 Ford sport utility vehicle operated by Scott L. Smith, 38, 40 Emus Way, York, owned by Charles Smith, 195 Love Lane, Rye, N.H., and a school bus operated by Debra Lamkin, 45, 5 Spinney Way #15, Kittery, owned by Student Transportation of America, were in collision on Cider Hill Road. Damage to the Ford was estimated at $3,000. No damage was reported to the bus.

9:35 a.m. A 1999 Honda sedan operated by Emily Tretter, 24, 3 Greenlock Lane, Nashua, N.H., received an estimated $1,500 in damages when it left Route 91 and went into a ditch.

4:05 p.m. A 2000 Ford pickup truck operated by Richard McStay, 69, 36 Caincrest Road, York, and a 1996 Geo sedan operated by a 17-year-old York girl, owned by Ferris Boardman, 2 Dusty Lane, York, were in collision on Route 1 at Caincrest Road. Damage to the Ford was estimated at $400. Damage to the Geo was estimated at $3,000.

5:40 p.m. A 1988 Chrysler convertible operated by a 17-year-old York girl, owned by Christine B. Rubin, 3 Saltwater Drive, York, received an estimated $2,000 in damages when it was struck by a deer on Route 1.

5:40 p.m. A 2006 Mercedes sedan operated by Crystal Hildreth, 23, 25 Seamist Lane, York, received an estimated $3,000 in damages when it was in collision with a deer that had struck a previous vehicle on Route 1.

Friday, Feb. 16

7:18 a.m. A 2003 Volvo station wagon operated by a 17-year-old York girl, owned by Karen Veilleux-Cribby, 1 Winterbrook Lane, York, received an estimated $3,500 in damages when it left South Side Road and went over a snowbank and large boulders.

Saturday, Feb. 17

7:45 a.m. David B. Hudson, 58, 253B York St., York, was charged with being a fugitive from justice on Route 1. Hudson was wanted for failing to register as a sex offender in New Hampshire. Police were tipped off by a person who had read a newspaper article about Hudson and had seen him working at a York business. He was scheduled to go before a judge on Feb. 20 before being extradited back to New Hampshire. Failure to register as a sex offender in New Hampshire is a felony offense.

9:40 a.m. A 1998 Volvo sedan operated by Robert Sparks, 161 York St., York, and a 1994 Mercury sedan owned by Don P. Estey, 161 York St., Apt. 53, York, were in collision in the Yorkshire Commons parking lot on York Street. Damage to the Volvo was estimated at $1,000, and damage to the Mercury was estimated at $400.

10:08 a.m. Robert Sparks, 64, 161 York St., York, was charged with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs at his residence. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court on March 5.
