SKATING INTO THE PLAYOFFS - York Middle School boys' hockey lost a well-played game by a score of 1-0 on Sunday, Feb. 25, against Scarborough. The game, which was played at the University of Southern Maine, Gorham, was the York Ingals team's last regular season game, and they go into the playoff next weekend. Meanwhile, the York Middle School girls' team was scheduled to play at North Yarmouth Academy on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 5 p.m. Although that game occurred after press time, the game was already being hailed as "The First Ever Girls' Middle School Game in Maine" by the NYA coach.
