York Police Department Incident Log
Sunday, Feb. 1810:04 p.m. A 1999 Volvo sedan operated by a 16-year-old York girl and owned by Michael E. Ehrenborg, 8 Greenacre Drive, York, and 2002 Dodge van operated by Jeff D. Finitz, 84 Darcy Road, York, were in collision at the intersection of Woodbridge Road and Moulton Lane. Damage to the Volvo was estimated at $1,500. Damage to the Dodge was estimated at $1,200.
Monday, Feb. 19
7:53 a.m. Mary J. Czarnionka, 23, 39 Raydon Road Extension, York, was charged with having an outstanding warrant at her residence. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court March 14.
Tuesday, Feb. 20
9:48 a.m. A Hooper Shores Road resident reported that a vehicle's tire had been slashed and another vehicle keyed. Damage was estimated at $150.
1:20 p.m. Irving Gas Station on Route 1 reported a theft of $18.50 worth of gas after a car drove away from the pump without paying.
7:20 p.m. Eric Plante, 35, 226 Bypass Road, Wells, was charged with operating while license suspended or revoked and possession of a suspended license on Route 1-A in Cape Neddick. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court May 10.
Wednesday, Feb. 21
7:58 a.m. A 17-year-old York male was charged with criminal mischief after an Old County Road resident reported the breaking of windows and plates causing an estimated $350 in damage.
1:49 p.m. A Charlestown, Mass., resident reported that a surfboard valued at $300 had been stolen from his grandmother's house on Long Beach Avenue sometime in September or October.
Thursday, Feb. 22
12:09 a.m. Andrew D. Lane, 21, 7 Laurel Lane, York Beach, was charged with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, possession of dangerous weapons (knives), sale/use of drug paraphernalia and possession of a useable amount of marijuana. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court April 5.
Friday, Feb. 23
5:30 a.m. A Department of Public Works sanding truck operated by Kevin Lewis, 37, 37 Webber Road, York, owned by the town of York, struck a utility pole and broke it in half while backing up to salt the intersection of Seabury and Old Seabury Roads. No damage was reported to the truck.
Saturday, Feb. 24
12:15 p.m. A resident of Yorke Woods Condominiums on Route 1 reported $1,500 damage to a truck that had been painted with black spray paint.
