Jane Richard
YORK HARBOR - Jane S. Richard, 87, of Vero Beach, Fla., and York Harbor, formerly of Brookville, N.Y., died on Friday, March 9, 2007, at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, H. Van B. Richard; her daughter Phyllis Frits; son-in-law Guy A. Frits; daughter-in-law Virginia R. Richard; five grandchildren, James and Garret Frits and Zachary, Travis and Cecily Richard, and one great-grandson, Kai Frits.
She was predeceased by her son Peter L. Richard.
A graduate of The Ethel Walker School in Simsbury, Conn., she was a talented interior decorator, passionate gardener and loyal friend.
A memorial service is planned in the Chapel of Trinity Episcopal Church, 2365 Pine Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960, on Saturday, March 17, at 3:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer/Parkinson Association of Indian River County, 2501 27th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
