Elaine Russell
KITTERY - Elaine G. (Miles) Russell, 97, of 27 Wyman Avenue, died Thursday, March 8, 2007, in Sentry Hill in York Harbor.She was born, March 6, 1910, in Eliot, daughter of Warren and Carrie E. (Junkins) Miles and had lived in Kittery for many years. She graduated from Eliot High School in 1928.
Her husband, Douglas W. Russell, Sr., and her son, Douglas W. Russell, Jr., predeceased her.
She leaves a son, Richard P. Russell of Eliot; a daughter, Patricia A. Busche of Westerville, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Grace (Russell) MacMillan of York; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and was completely devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, baking and playing card games.
Funeral services and burial will be private in the spring in Orchard Grove Cemetery, Kittery.
