LED TO VICTORY … by Coaches Patty Roche and Tom Simpson, the York Girls' Fifth-Grade Travel Basketball team beat the Wells Riptide team 23-21. As both teams exhibited determination and very strong playing skills, the game went into a riveting three-minute overtime. The girls had a great season culminating in two wins against Wells teams on Sunday, March 11, at Shapleigh Middle School and Marshwood Middle School.
