DON'T MISS "THE GENERATOR." There are two chances to catch "The Generator" Bill Vendasi this weekend when he plays at the American Legion on Friday, March 23, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 24, at 8 p.m. Vendasi is called "The Generator" because he painstakingly records every song - track by track, one at a time, including drums, bass, piano, brass, strings and harmony vocals - then plays the finished backing tracks through a full band-sized system while performing lead vocals and guitar live. There's plenty of energy "generated" when it all comes together. Songs include oldies, country, Motown, disco and, of course, rock 'n' roll. The result is a non-stop packed dance floor. American Legion Post 56 is located in the Long Sands Plaza at 127 Long Sands Road in York.
