Sunday, March 114:30 p.m. A 2006 Chrysler van last operated by Destiny H. Walley, 25, 9 Youngs Lane, York, owned by Mary Gibson, 21 Darcy Road, York, was struck by an unknown vehicle in the Hannaford parking lot on Route 1 while the operator was in the supermarket. Damage to the van was estimated at $1,500.
Thursday, March 15
10:23 a.m. A Birch Hill Road resident reported numerous stolen checks amounting to $1,864.97 between Nov. 23, 2006, and March 7. Police are investigating.
Friday, March 16
8:30 a.m. A 2001 Ford van operated by Margot Slosher, 38, P.O. Box 2099, York Beach, owned by Patricia Bristow-Carrico of 134 Rogers Road, York Beach, and a Honda sedan operated by Ruth E. Wheeler, 74, 22 Spring Pond Circle, York, were in collision on Ridge Road. Damage to the Ford is estimated at $800, and damage to the Honda is estimated at $1,500.
11:53 a.m. A guest at the Anchorage on Long Beach Avenue reported vandalism to a 2000 Pontiac sedan parked at the hotel overnight. There was no outside damage but it was reported that there were marker and pen marks on the front seat causing $200 in damage.
2:45 p.m. A Jeep sport utility vehicle operated by Sharon L. Beasley, 38, 19 Oceanside Ave., York, left Route 91, striking several dead trees.
2:55 p.m. A 2007 school bus operated by Brian G. Trafton, 23, 81 Chases Pond Road, York, owned by Ledgemere Transportation, and a 2000 Jeep sport utility vehicle operated by Catherine A. Monahon, 48, 20 Lynx Lane, Berwick, were in collision on Cider Hill Road, and the Jeep left the road and went into a ditch. Damage to the bus is estimated at $900.
3:09 p.m. A 1995 Nissan sport utility vehicle operated by James A. Cannon, 37, 430E Fields Drive, South Berwick, a 2006 Honda sedan operated by Iva A. Kalaydjieva, 27, 71 Webb #201, Dover, N.H., owned by Ruslan R. Hristov of the same address, and a 2000 Dodge van operated by Krisla D. Leigh, 21, 32 Brixham Road, York, owned by Louise G. Leigh of the same address, were in a collision on Cider Hill Road after the Nissan and Honda had stopped for a motor vehicle accident. Damage to the Nissan is estimated at $200, damage to the Honda is estimated at $3,000 and damage to the Dodge is estimated at $2,500.
3:35 p.m. A 1997 Nissan pickup truck operated by David M. Armstrong, 28, 7 Milton Ave., Sanford, received an estimated $1,500 in damage when it left Logging Road and struck a tree.
4:10 p.m. A 1998 Dodge van operated by Thomas H. MacKinney, 27, 45 Glenwood Road, Wells, owned by Anderson-Livingston Engineers of York, received an estimated $2,000 in damages when it left Route1 and struck a tree.
6:05 p.m. Jani Fnu, 38, 5 Northway Circle, Apt. 4, Dover, N.H., was charged with operating without being licensed after the 2002 Ford sport utility vehicle owned by Imelda Sumargo, of the same address, that Fnu was operating left Cider Hill Road and flipped over onto the roof, receiving an estimated $6,000 in damages. Fnu is scheduled to appear in York District Court June 7.
6:57 p.m. A 1998 Buick sedan operated by Mary E. Muccio, 49, 585 Cider Hill Road, York, received an estimated $1,000 in damages when it left Birch Hill Road and struck bushes in the yard of a residence.
Saturday, March 17
2:35 a.m. A 2004 Dodge pickup truck operated by Paul Banville, 67A Long Sands Road, York, and a 2001 Ford two-axle truck operated by Lawrence S. Ireland, 27, P.O. Box 1753, York Beach, were in collision on Rogers Road while both were out snowplowing. The Dodge received an estimated $1,250 in damage.
9:30 a.m. A 1999 Jeep operated by Ralph H. Magoon, 34 Lindsay Lane, South Berwick, received an estimated $3,000 in damage when it left Route 91 and went into a ditch, landing on the driver's side.
7:18 p.m. A 17-year-old Portsmouth juvenile was charged with criminal operating under the influence, transportation of liquor by a minor and sale/use of drug paraphernalia on Mountain Road. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court May 7.
