The Music Scene...
From the streets of New Orleans and the banks of the Mississippi to the clubs of Chicago, Roundhouse Blues Band draws on American music to build a contemporary sound all its own. Weaving together jazz, funk, blues, zydeco and rockabilly, the band creates original material that is familiar and fresh. In 2006 Roundhouse was selected to represent Maine in the semifinals of the International Blues Competition in Memphis, Tenn. The band has also shared the stage with the likes of John Hammond and Luther "Guitar, Jr." Johnson. On Saturday, March 31, Roundhouse can be found at Inn on the Blues at 9 p.m.
