Library Happenings

CELEBRATE SPRING. Todd Bezold and Michael Walek, both of York, will celebrate the arrival of Spring with a joint exhibition of paintings at the York Public Library from April 4 through May 31. Bezold is a botanist who uses his intimate knowledge of plant species and the organization of the natural world to illuminate his oil paintings. Walek, who currently earns his living as a garden and landscape designer, also has strong ties to the natural world, and has been an art teacher, gallery owner and art restoration specialist. Both are members of the Ogunquit Art Association. Bezold's "January" and Walek's "The Chase House" are shown here.
