DAR HONORS GOOD STUDENT CITIZENS. The Old York Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently honored six York County high school seniors with good citizen awards, including Emily Quinton of Wells High School and York High School senior Alyson Nelson Cadrin Sweet. At a recent meeting, Old York DAR Regent Shirley Peverly gave a brief history of the chapter, and Ann Siegel, good citizen chairwoman, introduced the students and presented each with a certificate, pin, American flag and a monetary gift from the chapter.
