Sunday, March 251:02 a.m. Matthew R. Tardiff, 18, 164 Scituate Road, York, was charged with illegal possession of liquor by a minor and Edward A. Donnell, 19, 3 Sonny's Lane, York, was charged with criminal operating under the influence and illegal transportation of liquor by a minor on the Spur Road. Tardiff is scheduled to appear in York District Court June 7. Donnell is scheduled to appear in York District Court July 5.
Monday, March 26
4:14 p.m. It was reported that two wooden doors had been ripped off a shed, located behind Village Elementary School on York Street, containing gym mats. Damage is estimated at $250.
Tuesday, March 27
9:13 a.m. Matthew Spooner, 19, P.O. Box 27, Springvale, was charged with violation of condition of release and receiving stolen property and Richard Robinson, 19, P.O. Box 1821, Sanford, was charged with receiving stolen property, after they were reported driving slowly around the neighborhood and taking a large piece of scrap metal out of a yard on Pudding Lane. They are scheduled to appear in York District Court June 7.
Thursday, March 29
3:29 p.m. A 2007 Chevrolet sedan operated by Kimberly A. Zaccone, 36, 6 Cutts Road, #107A, Kittery, owned by Genuine Parts, Co., of Westbrook, and a 2000 Jeep sport utility vehicle operated by a 17-year-old York female, owned by Margaret D. Baker, 39 E. Old Scituate Road, York, were in collision at the intersection of Route 1 and Brickyard Court Road. The Chevrolet received an estimated $4,500 in damages and the Jeep received an estimated $2,500 in damages.
7:25 p.m. Ashleigh L. Cox, 30, 8B Autumn Way, Kittery, was charged with operating when license suspended, indecent speed and failure to signal change of course on Route 1. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court July 5.
Friday, March 30
12:39 a.m. A 2007 Acura sedan operated by Matthew H. Bernal, 23, 7 Eastern Point Road, York, received an estimated $25,000 in damages when it left Woodbridge Road and struck a 1996 Ford van owned by Kevin M. McKelvey, 24, 178 Woodbridge Road #3, York, and a 2007 Chevrolet sport utility vehicle owned by Sally A. Greer, 26, 178 Woodbridge Road #4, then rolled over and landed on its wheels in the roadway. The Ford received an estimated $3,000 in damages, and the Chevrolet received an estimated $8,000 in damages.
9:13 a.m. A Parsons Road resident reported that she believed she had a rabid raccoon on her property. Animal Control had to exterminate the animal. It is inconclusive whether the animal was actually rabid as the state will not test for rabies unless it comes into contact with humans or domestic animals.
9:39 p.m. Alexsandrea B. Arpino, 20, 82 Haigh Road, Brentwood, N.H., was charged with being a fugitive from justice because of a warrant for forgery charges in New Hampshire, and faced extradition to that state, and Stephen J. Bartlett, 26, 4 Scammon Road, Stratham, N.H., was charged with sale/use of drug paraphernalia at the intersection of Old Post Road and Route 1. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court on June 7.
Saturday, March 31
12:01 a.m. Briana Gamester, 18, Long Sands Road, York, was charged with illegal possession of liquor by a minor; Michael P. Dugas, 15 Caincrest Road, York, was charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume, and a 17-year-old York female was charged with illegal possession of liquor by a minor after police responded to a noise complaint on Caincrest Road. Gamester and Dugas are scheduled to appear in York District Court June 7 and the minor is scheduled to appear in York District Court May 7.
8:53 a.m. A Snowdin Ridge resident reported that three tires were slashed on a vehicle causing an estimated $900 in damages.
11:03 a.m. A Scotland Bridge Road resident reported that the symbol for anarchy had been painted on a vehicle's window during the night causing an estimated $15 in damages. The markings could be washed off with soap and water.
