Just in time to deal with the aftermath of last week's Patriot's Day Nor'easter, Town Manager Phil Clark is back on the job full time. The preliminary estimates are in, and although the Patriot's Day Nor'easter did not decimate local communities to the degree of last year's Mother's Day flood, the price tag to fix the damage is expected to be in the millions. Members of the Board of Selectmen reviewed proposed changes to the town charter that include expanding the size of the board to seven members, changing the tax year to a fiscal year and modifying the tax schedule so residents make multiple payments instead of one. The Mount Agamenticus to the Sea Conservation Initiative was honored last Wednesday, April 18, in Boston's Faneuil Hall as the Environmental Protection Agency presented its annual Environmental Merit Awards for 2007.
