York lacrosse wins over Wells, 17 to 1

After a home loss on Monday, April 23, to Falmouth to open the season, the York High School boys’ lacrosse team traveled to Wells on Wednesday to play the Warriors and came away with a convincing 17-1 win.

Lady Wildcats swamp Traip, 14 to 1

The Lady Wildcats (1-2) opened their home season on a winning note last Thursday, April 26, when they defeated the Traip Lady Rangers, 14 to 1, in a game shortened to five innings by the "mercy" rule.

Wildcats win at home and on the road

Last Thursday, April 26, in a make-up of an earlier rainout, the York Wildcats (2-1) hosted the Traip Academy Rangers, winning at home, 6 to 3.

Little League season gets underway

Wet weather was not enough to keep York Little League from opening its 2007 season on Saturday, April 28.
