York lacrosse wins over Wells,
17 to 1
YORK - After a home loss on Monday, April 23, to Falmouth to open the season, the York High School boys' lacrosse team traveled to Wells on Wednesday to play the Warriors and came away with a convincing 17-1 win.
Leading the Wildcats were Dan Powers with four goals and five assists, Cam Dillon with four goals and one assist, Alex Quinn with two goals and one assist, Corey Borgel with one goal and one assist, Justin Gallant with one goal and one assist, Tony Romano with one goal and two assists, Cy Zetterberg with two goals, Sonny Sala with one goal and Tom Ross with one goal and one assist.
This game evened the Wildcats record at 1-1. The next game for the Wildcats was scheduled for Friday, April 27, at home against Fryeburg, but was rescheduled due to the rain.
