NEW CASTLE, N.H. - Help support services for area women and children by attending a fashion show and specialty luncheon in the ballroom of the Wentworth by the Sea on June 3.

The International Women's Club of New England (IWCNE) will host "Global Glamour," featuring a wide range of styles - from sportswear to evening gowns - in designs for a variety of shapes and sizes.

The show will emphasize the global nature of fashion design and manufacturing in the 21st century by including an international marketplace where vendors will bring accessories from a number of countries.

Local artisans will also be on hand, showcasing handmade art jewelry, scarves and other accessories.

Guests will enjoy a special luncheon featuring dishes with an international flair. Entertainment will include a demonstration of ballroom dancing, a jazz trio, door prizes and a raffle with prizes such as overnight stays, dinners and artwork.

The IWCNE is celebrating 15 years of charitable activity, including 23 programs on the Seacoast - and two international ones - serving women and children who have received donations from funds raised by IWCNE members.

Among the most recent awardees are Families First Health and Support Center of Portsmouth, the Biddeford Free Clinic, and Womenaid of Greater Portsmouth.

For further information, to receive an invitation, advertise in the program book or take part in the international marketplace, call Priscilla Schwartz at 361-4097.
