Holly fundraiser this Saturday
YORK HARBOR - This Saturday, May 5, "Holly-Palooza" will be held to benefit Jim Holly's family as they endeavor to pay for medical costs associated with his ongoing leukemia treatment.
Jim and Kate Holly and their seven children live in York and Jim has been employed by the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for 19 years. The Hollys are active members of Saint Mary's Parish in Wells as well as youth sports programs in York.
The Holly-Palooza fundraiser will be held at Foster's Clambake on Route 1-A and Axholme Road in York Harbor from 4 to 9 p.m.
The event will feature live music by The Digbees as well as tunes from DJ Mike Little of SideTraxx, children's activities, great food and many wonderful auction and raffle items including Red Sox tickets, a handmade Turkish rug, hand-blown glass, a gym membership, a Harley bike rental, gift baskets and much more. Tickets for Holly-Palooza are $10 for adults and $5 for children, with free admission for children under the age of 3.
