Boys' lacrosse now 3 and 2

YORK - The York High School boys' lacrosse team lost its most recent game to state champion Yarmouth by a score of 14 to 2, to bring there season record to 3-2.
Scoring for York during the Monday, May 7, game were Cam Dillon and Dan Powers with one goal each while Tom Ross had one assist.
It was a different story on Friday, May 4, when the team defeated Biddeford High School by a score of 19 to 1 to raise the season record to 3 and 1.
Scoring for the Wildcats were Powers with two goals and four assists, Dillon with five goals, Alex Quinn with four goals and one assist, Tony Romano with three goals, Jon Marcoulier and Justin Gallant with two goals each, Corey Borgel with one goal, Ben Hecht with two assists and goalie CJ Clark with one assist.
Last Wednesday, May 2, the team traveled to Auburn to play St. Dominic's and came away with a convincing 12 to 3 win.
After two straight years of traveling to St. Dom's and coming away with two straight losses, both by the same score of 9 to 7, the Wildcats left no doubt about this year's contest as they got off to a 4 to 0 lead and were never threatened as they took a 6 to 2 halftime lead and won by a final score of 12 to 3.
Scoring for the Wildcats were Powers with four goals and two assists, Dillon with four goals and one assist, Borgel with two goals, Romano with four assists, Quinn and Tom Ross with one goal each and Chris Durkin with one assist.
The Wildcats travel to Cape Elizabeth for their next game this Wednesday, May 9.
