Correction

A report in the May 2 edition of The Independent attributed a quote from a regional meeting with Kittery officials about whether affordable housing is wanted in York to Selectman Len Dorrian. Dorrian has since informed The Independent that the quote, "Do the voters in York really want affordable, workforce housing in their town?" did not come from him but that Selectman Mike Estes spoke those words at the Kittery Town Council meeting. Dorrian said both he and Estes serve on the Workforce Housing Committee and had agreed previously that only one person - Estes - would speak for that committee.
