Meeting for area families of children with special needs
KITTERY - On Friday, May 18, visit the Family Resource Center on the Kittery-York town line for a meeting for families of children with special needs.
The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the center, which is located at 518 Route 1 in Kittery.
All families raising a child with a special need are welcome. Special needs include, but are not limited to, autism, Down syndrome, mental retardation, mental health or chronic health issues, cerebral palsy, diabetes and heart conditions, to name a few.
The purpose of the meeting is to connect with other families, lend support, share resource
information and celebrate our children.
