The gardeners who have been at work creating the first of the featured gardens in a debut summer-long event for the Old York Garden Club event are ready to go. Come to the 16th and Final Miniature Show at BlueStocking Studio this weekend and enjoy an event that has been expanded to include eight days in a local landmark that will close at the end of the current season. The York Art Association's 51st season will begin on May 25 with an opening reception for the annual spring show. Local musicians were among those performing with Dan Zanes when he returned to The Music Hall for a recent concert-turned-dance party. With bluegrass and old-time country music featuring John Roc and Freewheelin' and an array of musical competitors, there is no better place to be for fans of the fiddle than at the Ogunquit Performing Arts Seventh Annual International Fiddlers' Contest this Saturday. The opening exhibitions of the Barn Gallery's 2007 season will run from Wednesday, May 23, through Saturday, June 23. This week's happenings
