Vote for the library this Saturday
YORK VILLAGE - If you're a fan of the books, programs and many offerings of the York Public Library, you'll want to vote yes for Articles 37 and 38 by absentee ballot or at the polls this Saturday, May 19.
Library staff and volunteers are urging residents to remember to cast their ballots at York High School this Saturday, May 19, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. and to vote for Articles 37 and 38.
Article 37 funds the library's regular operating budget and Article 38 will provide funding for a full-time staff member to assist the library's current staff in continuing to offer and expand the many programs and opportunities currently available to residents of all ages.
The library's goal is to sustain and improve library services and programs for the community.
