Sara

Sara

Greetings ladies and gentleman, I am Sara, a reserved older lady in search of a retirement home. I am a 12-year-old spayed female shih-tzu. My previous companion went into a nursing home so I had to come here to the shelter. This place is noisy and strange since I'm used to a quiet and calm home! I am well-behaved when loose in the house and may need a refresher on housetraining to help me get used to my new schedule. I may bark when outside because I want to go back inside with you! I'm a sweet, mild-mannered little lady who enjoys leisurely strolls. I would prefer an adult-only home since I'm older and possessive of my food. I also am a bit too pushy with cats and would prefer not to live with them. I love to ride in the car and enjoy my short walks. The shelter techs say that I'm an independent, affectionate and calm girl. I'm looking for a quiet home where I can kick back and relax. Please visit me soon!

Sootie

Sootie

Greetings, I'm Sootie. No, I have not been playing near the chimney; I'm just naturally grey and white! I am a three-year-old spayed domestic short hair female cat. My previous family surrendered me to the shelter because they no longer wanted me. I get along well with older children who are respectful of me. The shelter staff says I'm a quieter and calm girl who would make a great companion. Do you have a fireplace where we could curl up on those long, cold nights? I promise I won't get any of your furniture sooty! Please visit me soon and well begin our new life together! I've been here since September of 2006; please come take me home soon!

Hugs

Hugs

Greetings, I am Hugs. It's not a very manly name, I know, but hey, I'm just cute and cuddly and don't really mind a name that only adds to my cuteness! I am a five-year-old neutered male albino bunny who was surrendered to the shelter because my previous family was moving. I do have some stained fur because, as I'm sure you know, white is hard to keep clean! The shelter techs and volunteers have been giving me regular baths, which I don't mind at all, and I know I'll be sparkling clean in no time. I am very friendly and would prefer to be an indoor-only bunny. What do you say? Think I could join your family? Please stop by to meet me! To learn more about having me live with you, you can go to www.rabbit.org.
