Boys' lacrosse defeats Fryeburg, 12 to 4

YORK - The York High School boys' lacrosse team won its fourth game of the year on Monday, May 14, with a 12 to 4 win over Fryeburg.
Scoring for the Wildcats were Dan Powers and Cam Dillon with three goals and two assists each, Corey Borgel with three goals and one assist, Alex Quinn with two goals and one assist, Cy Zetterberg with one goal and Justin Gallant and Tom Ross with one assist each.
The win makes the Wildcats' record 4 and 3.
Last week, the team lost to state champion Yarmouth 14 to 2. Scoring for York were Dillon and Powers with one goal each while Ross had one assist.
The Wildcats finish this week with back-to-back road games at Greely and Freeport on Wednesday and Thursday, May 16 and 17.
