Sunday, May 6

12:05 a.m. Shawn A. Simpson, 22, 41 Barbara St., Springvale, was charged with sale/use of drug paraphernalia and possessing a useable amount of marijuana, and Jessica Martin, 20, 61 Ocean Park #8, Saco, was charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor on Route 1. They are both scheduled to appear in York District Court June 7.

11:46 a.m. A Woodbridge Road resident reported an identity theft when he found that $1,200 had been used through an Internet PayPal account to purchase an "E-Passport."

Monday, May 7

11:20 a.m. A 1999 school bus operated by Dana L. Alexander, 58, 101 Washington St., Exeter, N.H., owned by Oyster River Cooperative School District, 36 Coe Drive, Durham, N.H., received an estimated $2,500 in damages when it drifted onto the shoulder and struck a Central Maine Power utility pole.

3:15 p.m. A 1999 Dodge pickup truck operated by Jesse K. Eaton, 24, 86 Fall Mill Road, York, received an estimated $2,000 in damages when it struck the cement base of a light pole in the parking lot for Meadowbrook Plaza, Route 1.

3:30 p.m. Scott L. Smith, 38, 40 Emus Way, York, was charged with operating while license suspended or revoked and possession of a suspended license at the intersection of Route 1 and Old Post Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court July 5.

4:11 p.m. Christian C. Dawley, 22, 520 Brackett Road, Rye, was charged with furnishing liquor to a minor and illegal attachment of registration plates on Chases Pond Road.

Tuesday, May 8

Noon. Thomas Riley, 37, 429 Route 1, Kittery, was charged on an outstanding warrant for failure to pay a fine for assault. He is scheduled to appear in Bangor District Court May 31.

Wednesday, May 9

5:15 a.m. A Norwood Avenue resident reported the theft of a 35mm camera valued at $100 and $1.50 in cash out of car that occurred sometime between 5 and 5:20 a.m. The resident saw three male juveniles and told them to get out. They were gone before police arrived.

7:50 a.m. Deborah L. Sullivan, 35, 58 Caincrest Road, York, was charged on an outstanding warrant at 14 Georgana Way. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court May 29.

8:48 a.m. A resident of Old East Scituate Road reported $901 from his account had been used to purchase a Toshiba laptop computer that had been shipped to his old address on York Street.

9:23 p.m. Steven D. Punzel, 18, 65 High St., Apt. 1, Woburn, Mass., was charged with operating without being licensed, and Nathan S. Punzel, 19, of the same address, was charged with permitting unlawful use on Route 1. They are both scheduled to appear in York District Court August 9.

Thursday, May 10

11 a.m. A 2006 Ford pickup operated by William P. Hancock, 58, 74 Old County Road, Cape Neddick, and a 1996 Volvo station wagon operated by Heather Razin, 20, 438 State Street #6, Portsmouth, N.H., were in collision in the Cat ‘N Nine Tails parking lot on Route 1. The Ford received $50 in damages, and the Volvo received $1,500 in damages.

12:16 p.m. Timothy Welch, 54, 18 Winterbrook Drive, York, was charged with operating while license suspended or revoked. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court August 9.

7:40 p.m. A 1999 Volvo station wagon operated by a 16-year-old York female, owned by Michael E. Ehrenborg, 8 Greenacre Drive, York, received an estimated $7,000 in damages when it attempted to take a left turn from York Street onto Moulton Lane, jumped the curb, landed in a driveway, continued over a lawn and struck a bush.

Friday, May 11

8:17 a.m. Dean G. Horn, 23, 370A Ridge Road, York Beach, was charged with operating after suspension. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court August 9.

12:29 p.m. Albert Pare, 76, 55 Freeman St., York Beach, was charged with domestic assault at York Hospital. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court June 6.

Saturday, May 12

1:15 a.m. Freddie Watson Joye, Jr., 27, 65 Broadway Ave., York Beach, was charged with criminal operating under the influence on Route 1. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court Aug. 9.

2:34 a.m. Timothy R. Richards, 21, 1400 Route 1, Apt. C, York, was charged with sale/use of drug paraphernalia and possessing a useable amount of marijuana, and Cory J. Hoos, 27, of the same address was charged with violation of condition of release on Old Post Road near Ridge Road.

11:14 a.m. A Mountain Road resident reported the theft of a Lionel train set valued at $500 and a stereo receiver valued at $369. The items were in a garage for a yard sale.

Sunday, May 13

11 a.m. A 2003 Mercury sport utility vehicle operated by Michael J. Kleist, 61, 71 Seabury Road, York, and a 2001 Chrysler van operated by Frederick Rickerich, 91, 50 Washington Ridge Road, New Milford, Conn., were in collision on Hannaford Drive when the Mercury backed out of a parking space. The Mercury received an estimated $300 in damages, and the Chrysler received an estimated $6,000 in damages.

6:36 p.m. Zachary R. Buckley, 20, 182 Scituate Road, York, was charged with possession of dangerous weapons (knives) at 184 Scituate Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court July 5.
