Learn about global warming on

OGUNQUIT - The Friends of the Wells Public Library and Wells-Ogunquit Adult Community Education will host "The Science and Solutions of Global Climate Change" at the library on May 29 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The event will include a live presentation of the famous slide show given in the documentary film, "An Inconvenient Truth."
According to the event's organizers, "The Science and Solutions of Global Climate Change" is bipartisan in nature and is appropriate for children ages 10 and up, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
In addition to the slide show, Ray Sirois, one of 1,000 individuals trained to give this presentation, will share updated information on the topic.
Refreshments will be served, but attendees are urged to bring their own mugs.
