York High School Choral Concerts set for next week.

YORK - The YHS Music Department will be presenting its annual Choral Spring Concerts on Tuesday, June 5, and Friday, June 8.
Both concerts will be held at St Christopher's Catholic Church and will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The concerts under the direction of Rob Westerberg will include performances by the Treble Choir and the full Chorus with over 185 students performing, comprising over a quarter of the YHS student body.
The concert will also include the YHS Chamber Singers performing the "Coronation" Mass in C Major by Mozart, accompanied by chamber orchestra and student soloists. A unique feature of the Mass performance for the June 5 concert will be the assistance of members of the Noble High School Chamber Singers joining the YHS Chamber Singers as special guests.
There is no admission fee for the concerts, but early arrival is strongly encouraged. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. For more information, call York High School at 363-3621.
