Monday, May 21
1:37 a.m. Mark. A Graziano, 47, 22 Old Mountain Road, York, was charged with assault on Mountain Road. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court June 6.
8:21 a.m. Darren Goss, 26, 10 Chance Pond Road, Franklin, N.H., was charged with receiving stolen property at a residence on Mary Street, when he was found with a green iPod that had been reported missing from the residence on May 20. Goss had been working at construction on the residence. He is scheduled to appear in York Superior Court June 25.
3:15 p.m. A 2004 Toyota sedan operated by James E. Eldredge, 53, 9 Greenacre Drive, York, and a 2004 Mercury van operated by Findley W. Holmes, 79, were in collision at the lights by Hannaford on Route 1. The Toyota received an estimated $200 in damages, and the Mercury received an estimated $600 in damages.
5:54 p.m. A resident of Broadway reported that a male in dark clothing threw items including a crowbar, box cutter and flashlight, on the ground in his yard, resulting in an argument. Shortly after, another neighbor on Broadway reported damage to a back door estimated at $150, apparently from a crow bar being pried against it, and a broken basement window estimated at $20. It did not appear that the house was broken into. The male in dark clothing left the scene before police arrived.
10:20 p.m. A 2006 sport utility vehicle operated by Christopher C. Lucas, 20, 34 Candlewood Lane, York, received an estimated $1,000 in damages when it was struck by a deer on Old Post Road.
Tuesday, May 22
12:45 p.m. A 2004 Lexus sedan operated by William E. Sarmento, 73, 500 E. 77th St. #918, New York, N.Y., received an estimated $10,000 in damages when it drifted off Pine Hill Road into a ditch and struck a wall of ledge.
1:20 p.m. A Cornish Avenue resident reported a theft of a DVD player valued at $150 and several bottles of liquor valued at $200 from a summer residence that occurred sometime between November 2006 and May 22.
1:52 p.m. A Broadway resident reported a theft of 15 boxes of Pergo flooring valued at $1,000 from a summer residence that occurred between November 2006 and May.

11:39 a.m. A Cider Hill Road resident reported the theft of motorcycle saddlebags valued at $150 and a motorcycle cover valued at $100.
Thursday, May 24
10:20 a.m. A 2007 Toyota sport utility vehicle operated by Susan A. Hickey, 47, 4 Dolly Brook, York, and a 2000 GMC van operated by Ryan Todd Betti, 25, 18 Cuniff Avenue, Milford, N.H., owned by Creative Closets Unlimited, Hopkinton, N.H., were in collision on Spur Road. The Toyota received an estimated $1,000 in damages, and the GMC received an estimated $800 in damages.
1:47 p.m. Police observed a group of people drinking beers from several coolers on Short Sands Beach resulting in the following people being charged with illegal possession of liquor by a minor: Kaitlin Calculator, 19, 10 Reyners Brook Drive, Dover, N.H.; Riona A. Corr, 18, 10 Pinecrest Drive, Somersworth, N.H.; Matthew D. Short, 19, 75 Central Ave., Dover, N.H.; Andrew E. George, 20, 126 Mast Road, Dover, N.H.; Brian J. Hough, 20, 21 Madbury Road, Durham, N.H.; Adam M. Middaugh, 19, 1 Apache St., Dover, N.H. At the same time, Patrick R. Chamberlain, 18, 9 Maplewood Ave., Dover, N.H., was charged with disorderly conduct and refusing to submit to arrest. All are scheduled to appear in York District Court July 5.
5:30 p.m. A Hyundai sedan operated by Heather N. Roberge, 33, 139 Logging Road, Cape Neddick, owned by Michael S. Roberge of the same address, and a 2004 Ford pickup truck operated by Nathan Howe, P.O. Box 541, Ogunquit, were in collision on Greenleaf Parsons Road. The Hyundai received an estimated $1,200 in damages, and the Ford received an estimated $100 in damages.
Friday, May 25
2:07 p.m. Samuel W. Holmes, 71, 161 York St., York, was charged with criminal operating under the influence on York Street. He is scheduled to appear in York District Court August 9.
6:22 p.m. A 13-year-old female was charged with theft by unauthorized taking for shoplifting a stationery notepad valued at $5 from Joan's Gift Shop. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court June 18.
Saturday, May 26
3:17 a.m. Deidre M. Parshley, 21, 99 York St., York, was charged with criminal trespassing, possessing a useable amount of marijuana and sale/use of drug paraphernalia on Pine Hill South. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court June 6 for the criminal trespassing charge and July 5 for the marijuana and sale use of drug paraphernalia charges.
12:17 p.m. An Airport Drive resident reported the theft of VHS movies valued at $60.
5:15 p.m. A 1995 GMC pickup truck operated by John A. Zacharias, 23, 7 Colby Turner Road, York, and a 2006 motorcycle operated by Patrick R. Gatta, 41, 254 Lowell St., Waltham, Mass., were in collision in the Lobster Barn parking lot on Route 1. The GMC received an estimated $50 in damages, and the motorcycle received an estimated $2,500 in damages.
10:33 p.m. Stephanie Merrill, 21, 297 Main St., Groton, Mass., was charged with criminal mischief after admitting to slashing the tires and kicking a vehicle. She is scheduled to appear in York District Court July 5.
Sunday, May 27
5:57 p.m. Benjamin J. Goodwin, 22, 64 Glenwood Ave., Dover, N.H., was charged with operating while license suspended or revoked and with two outstanding warrants, one for failure to pay fine and one for failure to appear, on Route 1. For the warrants, he is scheduled to appear in York Superior Court June 13. For the other charge, he is scheduled to appear in York District Court A
