Lacrosse

The York High School boys’ lacrosse team finished their regular season on Friday, June 1, with an 11 to 5 win over Wells.

Track

The York High School outdoor track teams competed at the state championship on Saturday, June 2, and the girls’ team placed second with 85 points.

Baseball/Softball

Last Wednesday, May 30, the York Lady Wildcats took their last road trip of the season and played their final game at Yarmouth. The Wildcats baseball team ended its season at Yarmouth last Wednesday, May 30, but went down scrapping before losing to the Clippers (9-7) by the final score of 7 to 3. It was a big weekend for major league softball and also a busy week in general for local Little League teams.

Wrestling

The York High School Wrestling will play host to the 23rd Annual Maine vs. Nebraska All-Star Friendship Wrestling Match on Thursday, June 21, at 6 p.m.
