GET A NEW "POINT OF VIEW" THIS WEEKEND. The Old York Historical Society and its George Marshall Store Gallery have organized a unique tour of artists' studios and gardens in a picturesque corner of Southern New Hampshire. Based on the success of their 2006 tour in Southern Maine, this year's tour will take place in and around Deerfield and Lee, N.H., on Saturday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tour, which is entitled "Point of View," features the work of three talented New Hampshire artists: sculptor Jill Nooney and ceramic artists Al Jaeger and Don Williams. All three artists bring their artistic eye to gardening and have generously opened their properties to the public for this one-day tour of Nooney's Bedrock Farm and Garden at 45 High Road in Lee, Jaeger's 186-acre property at 12 Perry Road in Deerfield and Williams' gardens at 179 North Road in Deerfield. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the tour and may be ordered by calling the Old York Historical Society at 363-4974.
